Duct Design:
The EPA has raised the standard to 13seer for all new equipment manufactured after Jan 2006. This means that the ducting in your home ten years ago was rated for CFMs of a 10seer and below. When replacing your current A/C unit it is important to consider replacing your current systems ducting with an updated duct design. Heating:
Our technicians use inferred technology to identify any potential problems with the heating side of your unit. If your system has delayed burner ignition inferred technology will identify any failures if caused by low gas pressure, dirt in burners or improper positioning of pilot burner or ignitor. Gas Valves control the gas flow to the main burners. Causes for failure are shorted or open circuitry, mechanical failure, gas leak and intermittent failure. Your heat exchanger is a combustion chamber and the heart of your furnace. It separates combustion gases from household air. When the heat exchanger cracks it’s usually caused by stresses in the heat exchanger, excessive heat, furnace over-fired, air restrictions and ambient air.
